Fiji is an island country in the Melanesia region of the Oceania continent.

It's capital city is Suva.

It has a population of about 912,240 people.




Rourou is a famous Fijian dish.

Rourou is a vegetable stew made from Taro leaves.

It is made of Taro leaves, onion, garlic, baking powder, salt and oil.

It is prepared by mixing all the ingredients which is then boiled until simmer.

It is normally served with rice or other meals.

It is mostly eaten for lunch.
