Lebanon is a country in the Western Asia and Middle East region of the Asian continent.

It's capital city is Beirut.

It has a population of about 6 million people.





Mafroukeh is a famous Lebanese dish.

Mafroukeh is pastry with semolina cake base topped with cream fillings.

It is made of semolina, cornflour, milk, butter, caster sugar, icing sugar, lemon juice, rosewater, cardamom, butter, cashews, almonds and pistachios.

It is normally garnished with nuts like cashews, almonds and pistachios.

It is mostly eaten as dessert or on special occasions.
