It is made of shrimp, seafood or vegetables, flour, eggs, consomme, sweet sake, sugar, soy sauce, ginger, radish, spices and oil.

It is normally served with Tetsuyu sauce that is made of soy sauce, ginger and sugar mixture.

It is mostly eaten for lunch or as snack food.
