It is made of fish, shrimp, lobster, tomatoes, coconut milk, onion, garlic, plantains, green banana, jalapeno, achiote, red bell pepper, yuca, hot pepper sauce, seafood stock, cilantro and oil.

It is normally garnished with cilantro.

It is usually served with rice and hot sauce.

It is mostly eaten for lunch.
