Oman is a country in the Arabian Peninsula and Western Asian region of the Asian continent.

It's capital city is Muscat.

It has a population of about 4.4 million people.

Lokhemat  is a famous Omani food.

Lokhemat  is ball shaped sweet.

It is made of flour, yeast, cardamom, sweet limes and oil.

It is prepared by mixing all the ingredients to create a dough which is then shaped into balls and deep fried in hot oil until golden.

It is normally served with syrup made from sweet limes and cardamom.

It is mostly eaten as snack food or for special occasions.
