Kauknyintok is steamed rice and banana wrapped in banana leaf.

It is made of bananas, glutinous rice, grated coconut, sugar, sesame seeds, salt and banana leaves.

It is prepared by mixing the peeled banana with rice and coconut milk which is then wrapped in banana leaf and steam cooked.

It is normally sprinkled with sesame seeds and grated coconut.

It is mostly eaten as dessert.
