It has a population of about 51.4 million people.






Japchae  is a famous South Korean food.

Japchae is glass noodles or sweet potato noodles.

It is made of dang myun noodles, garlic, onions, green onions, carrots, asparagus, shiitake mushrooms, sesame seeds, sugar, soy sauce, sesame oil and vegetable oil.

It is normally sprinkled with sesame seeds.

It is usually seasoned with soy sauce.

It is mostly eaten as side dish with rice for lunch.
