Almibar is stewed fruits candy.

It is made of mangoes, papayas, jocotes, raisins, sugar, pineapple seasoning, rapadura candy, nancites, cinnamon, peppercorns and clove.

It is prepared by mixing the ingredients in boiled water until it simmers.

It is mostly eaten as dessert.
