Jireesh is crushed wheat porridge.

It is made of crushed wheat, rice, yogurt, ghee, onions, cinnamon, broth, cumin, coriander, lime, chili flakes, salt and oil.

It is normally garnished with caramelized onions.

It is mostly eaten for lunch.
