It's capital city is Ngerulmud.

It has a population of about 21,500 people.




Ahu is a famous Palauan food.

Ahu is sweet coconut dumplings soup.

It is made of flour, coconut milk, coconut silk gelatin, sugar, walnuts and salt.

It is prepared by mixing flour and coconut milk to create dough pieces which is then cooked in coconut milk and sugar mixture.

It is normally garnished with walnuts.

It is mostly eaten as dessert.

Coconut Dumplings refers to dumplings made from grated coconut.

It is made of grated coconut, flour, margarine, salt, parsley and oil.

It is prepared by mixing all the ingredients to create a dough which is then kneaded into desired shape and then cooked in boiled salted water.

It is normally garnished with parsley.

It is mostly eaten for breakfast or with other main meals for lunch.
