New Zealand is an island country in the Oceania continent.

It's capital city is Wellington.

It has a population of about 4.8 million people.





Hangi is a famous New Zealand food

Hangi refers to chicken meat and vegetables like potatoes being cooked using heated rocks buried in a pit oven.

Hangi is prepared by digging a pit in the ground, heating stones in the pit with a large fire, placing baskets of food on top of the stones and covering them with earth for several hours until cooked.

It is mostly eaten for special occasions.
