Libya is a country in the North African and Maghreb region of the African continent.

It's capital city is Tripoli.

It has a population of about 7.2 million people.





Bazeen or Bazin is a famous Libyan food.

Bazeen is an unleavened bread made from barley, water and salt.

It is cooked by boiling barley flour in water until it ripens and then made into a dough. The dough is then steamed and molded into a pyramid or dome shape.

It is normally served with chicken meat, boiled eggs, potatoes and tomato sauce.

It is mostly eaten for lunch and special occasions.
