It has a population of about 2.9 million people.

Ghapama o Xapama is a famous Armenian food.

Ghapama is stuffed pumpkin.

It is made of pumpkin, rice, raisins, butter, honey, plums, apricots, apple, cinnamon, walnuts and salt.

It is prepared by mixing the boiled rice with the ingredients which is then stuffed inside a cut and cleaned pumpkin and baked.

It is normally served with butter and honey.

It is mostly eaten for lunch, dinner or special occasions.
