Festival is fried dough dumplings which is oval shaped.

It is made of flour, cornmeal, milk, butter, sugar, baking powder, allspice, vanilla extract, salt and oil.

It is prepared by mixing all the ingredients which is then formed into oval shapes and fried in hot oil until golden brown.

It is normally served with mango coleslaw or saltfish.

It is mostly eaten as snack food.
