Chickpea Couscous is a famous Mauritanian dish.

Chickpea Couscous is chickpeas mixed with couscous which is steamed balls of crushed durum wheat semolina.

It is made of couscous, chickpeas, pepper, salt and oil.

It is normally seasoned with salt and pepper.

It is mostly eaten for lunch.
