Rojak is a famous Malaysian food.

Rojak is a salad mixture of fritters, crackers and vegetables drenched  in spicy peanut sauce.

It is made of cucumber, eggs, turnip, tofu, flour fritters, prawn crackers and peanut sauce.

Flour fritters are prepared by mixing flour, shallots, turmeric, salt and oil.

Prawn crackers are prepared by mixing flour, prawns, baking powder, sugar, salt and oil.

Peanut sauce is prepared by mixing roasted peanuts, sweet potatoes, fried shallots, dried chillies, tamarind, sugar and salt.

It is normally garnished with dried shallots, toasted sesame seeds or toasted peanuts.

It is mostly eaten for lunch or as snack food.
