Samoon is yeast bread which is diamond-shaped.

It is made of flour, egg, wheat bran, yeast, sugar,  buttermilk, sesame seeds, salt and oil.

It is normally sprinkled with sesame seeds.

It is usually served with cream, cheese, hummus dip or baba ghanoush dip.

It is mostly eaten for breakfast.
