Sawine is a famous Trinidadian dish.

Sawine is vermicelli and milk pudding.

It is made of vermicelli noodles, milk, sugar, cinnamon, cardamom, cloves, almonds, maraschino cherries and raisins.

It is normally garnished with toasted almonds, maraschino cherries and raisins.

It is mostly eaten as dessert or for special occasions.
