Panades is a famous Belizean food.
Panades is deep-fried, crescent-shaped corn flour dough pastry filled with fish or beans.
It is made of corn flour, tuna fish or refried red or black beans, baking powder, ground red recado seasoning, onion, cabbage, cilantro, Habanero pepper, limes, vinegar, pepper, salt and oil.
It is normally served with Salsa sauce made from cabbage, peppers and onions.
It is mostly eaten as snack food.
