Chancletas is stuffed chayotes pudding.
It is made of green chayotes, egg yolks, grated coconut, butter, raisins, almonds, sweet sherry, cinnamon, sugar and salt.
It is normally topped with raisins and crushed almonds.
It is mostly eaten as dessert.
