Sandkaker or Sandbakelse is a famous Norwegian food.
Sandkaker is sand cookies.
It is made of flour, egg, butter, caster sugar, ground almonds, almond extract and vanilla extract.
It is prepared by mixing all the ingredients to produce a dough which is then pressed into greased sandkaker molds and baked until golden.
It is mostly eaten as dessert or for special occasions.
