It is made of rice, chicken, white onion, carrots, celery stalks, cilantro, chicken broth, butter, garlic, hot pepper, cumin, achiote powder, bell peppers, cooked peas, raisins, eggs, soy sauce, scallions, salt and oil.

It is normally served with avocado slices, hot sauce, pickled red onions and ketchup.

It is mostly eaten for lunch.
