Houska is a famous Czech food.

Houska is baked bread roll.

It is made of flour, egg, butter, yeast, milk, sugar, lemon zest, nutmeg, poppy seeds, raisins and salt.

It is usually braided and shaped into a plump circular form resembling a knot and sprinkled with poppy seeds.

It is normally served with butter, spread or marmalade fruit preserve.

It is mostly eaten for breadkfast or as snack food.
