Aasmi is a famous Sri Lankan food.

Aasmi is deep fried sweet snack.

It is made of rice flour, coconut milk, sugar, cinnamon leaves, rose essence, pink coloring, salt and oil.

It is prepared by mixing the ingredients and then the batter is fried into thin strings which are overlapped.

It is normally drizzled with sugar syrup.

It is mostly eaten as dessert, snack food or on special occasions.
