Eritrea is a country in the Eastern African and Horn Of Africa region of the African continent.

It's capital city is Asmara.

It has a population of about 4.9 million people.





Hamli is a famous Eritrean dish.

Hamli is sauteed collard greens.

It is made of collard greens, yellow onions, garlic, parsley, coriander, tomatoes, black pepper, salt and oil.

It is prepared by steam cooking the collard greens which is then mixed with the ingredients and sauteed until fully tender and full of flavour.

It is normally served with injera flatbread or rice.

It is mostly eaten for lunch.
