Inyan is pounded yam.

It is made of yam tuber and water.

It is prepared by peeling the skin of yam which is then boiled before being pounded until becoming a soft dough.

It is normally served with okra soup or eguisi soup.

It is mostly eaten for breakfast or lunch.
