Mapopo is sweet papaya candy.

It is made of papaya, sugar, lemon peel and mint.

It is prepared by mixing the peeled papayas with other ingredients which is then cooked until the mixture crystallizes before they are molded into ball or stick shapes.

It is mostly eaten as snack food.
