It has a population of about 6.8 million people.





Koi Pa or Golden Triangle is a famous Laotian dish.

Koi Pa is fish salad.

It is made of roasted rice,  fish, yardlong beans, shallots, galangal, chili flakes, fish sauce and lime juice.

It is normally served with rice.

It is mostly eaten for lunch.
