Equatorial Guinea is a country in the Central African region of the African continent.

It's capital city is Malabo.

It has a population of about 1.2 million people.



Akwadu is a famous Equatoguinean dish.

Akwadu is a banana bake dish.

It is made of banana, coconut, butter, brown sugar, orange juice and lemon juice.

It is prepared by peeled and cut bananas arranged in a pan before bring drizzled with orange and lemon juice and topped with brown sugar, coconut and butter.

It is then baked in the oven until golden brown.

It is normally served with fruits like pineapple or melon.

It is mostly eaten for breakfast or as a dessert.
