Masgouf is a famous Iraqi dish.

Masgouf is grilled fish.

It is made of carp fish, tamarind, turmeric, black pepper, onion, spinach, tomatoes, parsley, lemon wedges, salt and olive oil.

It is prepared by marinating the fish with the ingredients and then roasted on low heat.

It is normally garnished with parsley and lemon wedges.

It is usually served with rice.

It is mostly eaten for lunch.
