Paella is a famous Spanish dish.

Paella refers to a rice dish cooked on a pan called paella.

It consists of short-grain white rice, chicken meat or seafood, green beans, butter beans, tomatoes, sweet paprika, garlic, salt, olive oil and seasoning such as saffron and rosemary.

It is normally cooked on the pan over an open fire, fuelled by pine branches and cones that produces aromatic smoke which infuses the paella.

It is usually eaten for lunch or dinner.
