Fiji is an island country in the Melanesia region of the Oceania continent.

It's capital city is Suva.

It has a population of about 912,240 people.





Kokoda is a famous Fijian dish.

Kokoda refers to raw fish marinated in lemon or lime juice and then served in fresh coconut milk mixed with raw cucumbers, tomatoes, onions, capsicum and chilies.

It is normally served in a coconut shell, bamboo or pineapple.

It is mostly eaten for lunch.
