Chicken Doner Kebab is made of chicken meat stacked in the shape of an inverted cone turned slowly on a rotisserie next to a vertical cooking element. The outer layer of the chicken meat is sliced into thin shavings as it cooks.
The sliced chicken meat are normally served with rice and salad vegetables like tomato, lettuce, cabbage, onion and chilli or stuffed with vegetables into a bread as a sandwich or wrapped in a flatbread.
It is mostly eaten for lunch.
