Chicken Machboos is a famous Bahrain rice and chicken dish.

It is a mixture of fragrant rice, chicken, herbs, spices like dried lemon called Loomi, saffron, black pepper and cardamon.

It is similiar to Briyani of India but have different ingredients and way of cooking.

It is mostly eaten for lunch, dinner or special functions like weddings.
