Ivory Coast is a country in the West African region of the African continent.

It's capital city is Yamoussoukro.

It has a population of about 23.7 million people.






Kedjenou is a famous Ivory Coast dish.

Kedjenou is a spicy chicken and vegetables stew that is slow-cooked in a sealed pot over fire or coals.

Sometimes the dish is cooked in a wrapped banana leaf that is put under hot coals.

It is usually served with rice or a side dish called Attieke which is made from grated cassava.

It is mostly eaten for lunch.
