Waakye or Wache is a famous Ghanaian dish.

Waakye is rice and beans dish.

It is cooked with spices and herbs like sorghum leafs, black eyed peas and kidney beans.

It is normally served with spaghetti, pickled vegetables called Gari, boiled egg, stewed chicken or fish meat and vegetable salad consisting of cabbage, onions and tomatoes.

It is mostly eaten for lunch.
