Romania is a country in Eastern European region of the European continent.

It's capital city is Bucharest.

It has a population of about 19.6 million people.



Ghiveci is a famous Romanian dish.

Ghiveci is a vegetable stew.

It is made of eggplant, zucchini, onions, carrots, peppers, cabbage, tomatoes, potatoes, cucumbers, pumpkin, peas and herbs such as dill, parsley and thyme.

It can be served as a main meal or as a side dish to a porridge called mamaliga or bread.

It is usually eaten for lunch or dinner.
