Baleada is a sandwich made from thick tortilla bread which is folded in half.

It is normally filled with mashed fried red beans, crumbled cheese and sour cream.

Some variations have chicken slices, plantain, hot sauce, avocado, diced tomato, onion and bell pepper.

It is normally eaten for breakfast or lunch.
