It is made of chicken meat and spices such as pimento, scotch bonnet pepper, scallion, onions, thyme, cloves, cinnamon, nutmeg, garlic, ginger and salt.
It is normally cooked either by roasting the chicken over coals on top of the pimento wood or cooked in the oven.
It is usually served with rice.
It is mostly eaten for lunch.
