Slovenia is a country in the Southern European region of the European continent.

It's capital city is Ljubljana.

It has a population of about 2.1 million people.



Struklji is a famous Slovenian dish.

Struklji is a type of dessert in the form of rolls.

It is made of wheat or buckwheat flour, egg, oil and salt which are mixed together to create dough which is then rolled into a thin layer.

It can be either steamed, boiled in water, fried or baked and have wide range of fillings.

The fillings can be sweet or savoury and consists of apple, walnut, poppy seed, cottage cheese or tarragon.

It is normally served with gravy or sauce of breadcrumbs.

It is mostly eaten for dinner or special occasions.
