It is prepared by mixing flour, yeast, water, salt, grated cardamom, egg and melted butter to create a thick dough.

For fillings, carrots, sugar, salt, nutmeg and eggs are then mixed on a pan and then spread along the dough before being baked in the oven until golden brown.

It is normally eaten for breakfast.
